VMG Health has named Jim Rolfe as managing director of its transactional services division.
Mr. Rolfe specializes in providing transactional advisory services, specifically mergers and acquisitions/divestitures and joint ventures exclusively in the healthcare sector. He has participated in more than 45 transactions totaling $2.2 billion.
Mr. Rolfe will lead the expansion of VMG’s transaction service line. VMG Health’s transactional and syndication consulting services division provides client representation for both sellers and buyers of medical practices including hospitals, home health providers, imaging centers and physician practices.
“Our goal in expanding this complimentary service to the existing core valuation business is to enhance the presence of VMG as a one-stop healthcare consulting firm,” says Mr. Rolfe.
Prior to joining VMG Health, Mr. Rolfe served as vice president of acquisitions and development for Community Health Systems, the nation’s largest publicly-traded healthcare system. During his time at CHS, Mr. Rolfe orchestrated and managed one of the nation’s largest whole hospital syndications.
