Missouri Surgical Center Partners With Surgical Care Affiliates

South County Surgical Center in St. Louis announced that it has partnered with Surgical Care Affiliates, according to an SCA news release. South County Surgical Center is a multi-specialty center offering GI, gynecology, pain management, general specialties, orthopedic, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, plastic and urology services. SCA and 24 physicians will own the facility as a joint venture, and SCA will provide management services.

Andrew Hayek, president and CEO of SCA said in the release, “We are excited about the opportunity to partner with this extraordinary group of physicians in South County. This partnership will allow the physicians utilizing this center to focus on clinical excellence while leveraging SCA’s nationwide infrastructure and support service. This is a step forward in SCA’s plan to expand its services to more physicians and surgery centers across the country.”
