SourceMedical Partners With McKesson Medical-Surgical to Improve Supply Chain Management Processes

SourceMedical, a leading provider of outpatient information solutions, has announced that it will partner with McKesson Medical-Surgical to improve supply chain management processes, according to a SourceMedical news release.
As a result of the partnership, SourceMedical’s SourcePlus PurchaseConnection, an advanced eProcurement portal for ASCs and specialty hospitals, will be used by McKesson to provide order management capabilities to its customers, which can help increase product availability, improve inventory levels and reduce order discrepancies and overall supply chain costs.
SourcePlus PurchaseConnection enables efficient supply chain management from manufacturer to distributor to healthcare provider by using the Internet as a communications and procurement medium and providing access to collaborative online order management tools.
